Who doesn't love chocolate chip brownies? No one! So why not take in a tin of these devilishly chocolately brownies to work or school and I guarantee you will become the most popular person in the office or class room. That's if your family don't eat them all first!
Ingredients~
275g Softened Butter
275g Caster sugar
4 Large eggs
75g Cocoa powder
100g Self raising flour
100g Plain chocolate chips- and to make it even better add 50g of White chocolate chips.
Method ~
1. Preheat the oven to 160'c fan. Grease a 30x23cm traybake or roasting tin then line the base and sides with baking parchment.
2. Measure all the ingredients into a large bowl and beat until evenly blended. Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin, scraping the sides of the bowl with a plastic spatula to make sure all the mixture is used (you don't want to waste any!).
3. Spread the mixture gently to the corners of the tin and level the top with the back of the spatula.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, I recommend setting a timer for 30 minutes then check every 7 minutes until 40-45 minutes just so it does not burn. The brownies should have a crusty top and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
5. Leave the brownies in the tin to cool and then cut into 24 squares. Store in an airtight tin.
